PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable image processing apparatus which inhibits a capacity element over of an image memory by a plurality of print jobs. SOLUTION: A composite machine 10 which performs a plurality of sorts of the print jobs includes an image memory 112 which memorizes temporarily the plurality of the sorts of the print jobs before printing, a PDL memory 165 which memorizes the print data of the print job which received from a personal computer 3, a ramification part 167 which develops the print data memorized by the PDL memory 165, and forms the image data, a transfer part 161 and a transfer part 132 which transmit the image data which a ramification part 167 formed to the image memory 112, and a transfer controller 135 and a transfer controller 169 which control the transfer to the image memory 112 in the transfer part 132 in response to the residual capacity of the image memory 112.
