AUTOMATIC METER READING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An automatic meter reading system is provided to remove the necessity for a meterman to directly visit to a home or building. CONSTITUTION: A control device(20) photographs a number display unit of a meter(10) according to a used-amount data request signal from a used-amount display unit, and transmits the used-amount data obtained through digit analyzing to the used-amount display unit based on the wireless communication method. The control device is mounted in the meter. The used-amount display unit sends the used-amount data request signal to the control device through a bidirectional RF communication module(32).
