PURPOSE: A hybrid-type bad smell removing device, a portable food waste treatment device using the same, and a control method thereof are remove bad smell generated in a process bath through a catalyst deodorization module. CONSTITUTION: A portable food waste treatment device using a hybrid-type bad smell removing device includes a food treatment part(100), a bad smell deodorizing part(200), an exhaust part(300), and a control part. The food treatment part dries the food waste transferred to a food treatment bath with hot wind. The bad smell deodorizing part has an activated charcoal module and a catalyst deodorizing module. The exhaust part discharges exhaust gas to the outside.
