The device has a support structure (2) associated with an injection body (4) that injects particles, and a stockholder to hold the particles. A dosing unit is provided for medium-dose injection of particles injected by the injection body, and a displacement unit moves the support structure to target positions. A programmable logic controller controls the injection device, the dosing unit and the displacement unit, where the injection body is movable in a horizontal plane. An independent claim is also included for a method for aerating a ground.
