A U-turn type head assembly of an anchor for preventing the breakdown of a side wall is provided to collect steel wire armored cables easily without damaging grout when removing or drawing out steel wire armored cables after construction work and to prevent the underground pollution caused by corroded steel wires by collecting steel wire armored cables. A U-turn type head assembly(1) of an anchor for preventing the breakdown of a side wall is completed by forming a guide supporter(2) and a guide body(4) on both ends of a support pipe(5). The support pipe is formed in the shape of a cylinder and provided with plural ring-shaped projections(5-1); the guide supporter contains a disk-shaped guide support plate(20) provided with guide grooves, an anchor coupling pipe provided with anchor insertion holes and projections to insert and couple the end of an anchor, a pair of supports(23) formed parallel with each other, an incline formed on the front of each support, and a roller(25) installed between the supports by a shaft(26); and the guide body contains a disk-shaped guide support plate(40) formed on the outer circumference and provided with guide grooves, a single pipe(41) formed to the center of the guide support plate and provided with projections(44), and an anchor insertion hole(43) formed to the central line of the guide support plate and the anchor insertion hole to insert an anchor.
