PURPOSE: A gear box of a turret tool is provided to achieve effective lubrication and cooling of a bevel gear using oil stored in an oil storage chamber formed around the bevel gear and to prevent the leakage of oil from the oil storage chamber. CONSTITUTION: A gear box of a turret tool in which the power of a shaft is transmitted to a drive shaft(9) via bevel gears(20a,20b) engaged with each other comprises an oil storage chamber formed on one side of the bevel gear to receive the gear surface of the bevel gear. Lubricating oil is stored in the oil storage chamber. An oil seal and a waterproof bearing are formed around the oil storage chamber to prevent the leakage of oil.
