OXY FUEL BURNER USING BLAST FURNACE GAS PRODUCED IN IRON AND STEEL MAKING PROCESS

PURPOSE: An oxy fuel burner using BFG(Blast Furnace Gas) is provided to discharge flame rapidly by mixing BFG with oxygen, thereby ensuring perfect combustion without strong pilot flame. CONSTITUTION: An oxy fuel burner using BFG comprises an oxygen injection nozzle(10), a BFG injection nozzle(30), and an igniter(50). The oxygen injection nozzle includes an oxygen inlet(11), a primary combustion oxygen hole(12) for discharging the oxygen(O2) supplied through the oxygen inlet, front combustion assist oxygen holes(13), a tapered portion(14) formed on the end of the primary combustion oxygen hole, and side combustion assist oxygen holes(15) formed on the tapered portion. The BFG injection nozzle includes a BFG inlet(31) for supplying BFG less than 1,000kcal/Nm^3 in calorific value, and a burner outlet(33) which has a reduced portion(35) and discharges the mixed gas of the BFG supplied through the BFG inlet and the oxygen discharged through the oxygen injection nozzle.
