PURPOSE: A ballast water pre-treatment filter for a ship and a processing method thereof are provided to sterilize and disinfect bacteria and microorganisms while removing sludge and residues in the seawater. CONSTITUTION: A ballast water pre-treatment filter for a ship includes a first filter(20), an electrolysis device(30), and a second filter(40). The electrolysis device is comprised of a plurality electrode plates, and a fixed jig(33) is installed at the bottom of the electrode plate. The second filter removes the microorganism o in the ballast water, and has a penetration-hole of which size is smaller than the size of the first filter penetration-hole. The ballast water pre-treatment filter further includes a compressed air injection device(34), a sludge guide pipe(35), and a differential pressure switch.
