A clock generation method for the CAV(Constant Angular Velocity) reproduction of an optical disc is provided to generate a clock in proportion to an input data rate necessary for performing the CAV reproduction of the optical disc by using a flag signal or synchronous information of the optical disc and simplify hardware by using a share structure using a wobble PLL(Phase Locked Loop). A synchronous signal read at a uniform period from an optical disc is inputted to a PD(Phase Detector)(405) of an analog PLL. A clock outputted from a VCO(Voltage Controlled Oscillator)(407) of the analog PLL is divided by a length of the synchronous signal, and the divided clock is inputted as a comparison clock of the PD(405). A clock outputted from the VCO(407) is divided by degree requested in an analog front-end, and is used for CAV reproduction.
