The rotor has a friction ring (11) with a central symmetrical rotational axis and a cylindrical inner wall on which a projection (16) is oriented towards the central axis, where the projection separates two radial slots. A bowl (12) has a cylindrical outer wall on which tabs (17, 18) delimit an axial slot. The tabs are penetrated in the respective radial slots, and are applied against the projection so as to permit the projection to radially slide in the axial slot. The outer wall is formed by stamping a metal sheet. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a rotor of a disk brake.
