FIELD: metallurgy industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, and namely to manufacture of forges from austenite steels stabilised with titanium. Method involves smelting in vacuum-induction furnace by melting initial melting charge, fusion of melting charge in vacuum-induction furnace thus obtaining molten metal, casting of cake in a mould, vacuum-arc re-melting of the obtained cake and thermal deformation treatment of the obtained workpiece. Melting charge includes iron, carbon, nickel and addition of deoxidising agent in the form of aluminium and silicon. Molten metal is kept till denitration process is completed during the time period depending on weight of the melting charge; after that, nitride-forming elements are added to molten metal, such as chrome, titanium and vanadium according to grade composition. Workpiece is consequently deformed, after that there performed is intermediate high-temperature homogenising annealing at temperature of 1230-1270C during 8-12 hours depending on workpiece weight. ^ EFFECT: invention allows decreasing content of nitrides and carbonitrides in workpieces of austenite steels stabilised with titanium as much as possible, as well as increasing homogeneity of their distribution. ^ 4 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl |
