FIELD: nuclear physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radionuclide sources, meant for medical purposes, and can be used for making visualisation agents, used in diagnostic recording systems. The radionuclide generator has a housing 1 with a cover 2, a three-way tap 3, pipes 4, 5, 6, 7 and an eluent source 8. Inside housing 1 there is a column 9 with sorbent and a radiation shield 10. The first 11 and second 12 connecting elements are placed on the cover 2 perpendicular its surface. The generator also has a waste unit 13, a pump 14 in form of syringe and a double-chamber protective-actuating cylinder 15, which has a first chamber 16 under the actuating medium and a second chamber 17 under the eluent. The first chamber 16 is separated from the second chamber 17 by a flexible membrane 18 and its inner volume is 1.2 to 1.8 times larger than the volume of the second chamber 17. The difference in length from ends of connecting elements 11 and 12 to the surface of cover 2 ranges from 3 to 5 mm. Pump 14 is connected by the first pipe 4 with the double-chamber protective-actuating cylinder 15, which is connected by the second pipe 5 with the three-way tap 3. The three-way tap 3 is connected to the eluent source 8 and by the third pipe 6 to the first connecting element 11. The waste unit 13 is connected to the second connecting element 12 by the fourth pipe 7.
