PURPOSE: A system and a method for providing a point of interest around destination are provided to generate rote search statistic data by preparing statistics of points that users frequently use. CONSTITUTION: A POI(Point Of Interest) corresponding to route data is stored at a POI database, and a categorized route search statistical information is stores at a statistical information database in relation to the POI. A search request including destination information and a route search category is received from a user(602). The POI corresponding to the destination information is searched from the POI database. The route search statistical information is searched from the statistical information database, wherein the route search statistical information is placed in the searched POI and is related to the route search category(604). |
