The device has a right pedal (1) and a left pedal (1') that are modified for accommodating and pushing rods (2, 2') of pumps (3, 3') so as to compress air in the pumps. The pumps supply the air to a dispenser (5) through flexible hoses (9, 9') for dispensing the air into a cylinder (6) such that a rod (7) of the cylinder is pushed for rotating a large plate (8) to drive a chain for rotating wheels. The dispenser has a slide (4) permitting the dispensing of the air into the cylinder or exhausting of the air from the cylinder.
