FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: image forming device for image formation using an electrophotographic method has a scanning unit, which has several laser elements capable of parallel scanning several lines in the sub-scanning direction on a second resolution, which is higher than the first resolution of the formed image in the principal scanning direction, apparatus for setting scaling factor in the sub-scanning direction depending on the first and second resolutions and size of the image to as to form the image, apparatus for controlling actuation so as to select and activate any laser element from several laser elements of the said scanning unit depending on the scanning coefficient, which is set using the said apparatus for setting the scaling factor, and apparatus for forming on a printed carrier an image of lines, scanned by the said scanning unit using laser elements which are activated by the said apparatus for controlling actuation. ^ EFFECT: higher quality of image. ^ 15 cl, 20 dwg |
