<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability by changing folders through an easy operation and matching changing operations for folders and images to a conceptual model of a user. <P>SOLUTION: In a screen ST1, a choice of a folder F1 is displayed with icons indicative of the folder F1. Image files P11 and P12 are reproduced images having been photographed. In a display frame SC, a photographed image R of a current subject, the files P11 and P12, and the icons of the folder F1 are displayed together. A user depresses a "down" button of a cross key 27 so as to change the folder F1 to the folder F2. Once the down button is depressed with the picture ST1, the screen changes to a screen ST3 via a screen ST2. In the screen ST2, numbers in icons are changed to display a state, where the folders are switched over.
