PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water base resin composition for a clear paint that can form a coating film excellent in block resistance, weatherability and crack resistance. SOLUTION: The water base resin composition is produced by blending a crosslinking agent with a heterophasic-structure aqueous resin dispersion composed of a core comprised of a high Tg component and a shell comprised of a low Tg component.
