<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container apparatus capable of efficiently discharging contents such as waste materials accommodated so as not to be broken. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The container apparatus includes a container body 2; a container supporting part 3 for supporting the container body 2; and a closing body 4 for closing a back opening part 2b in the upright position of the container body 2. The container supporting part 3 includes arm parts 37a and 37b the end parts A of which are pivotally supported by bearings 36 and the end parts B of which are pivotally supported by bearings 24; guide parts 38a and 38b for guiding the corner part C of the container body 2 so as to move along a vertical or substantially vertical direction; and a locking mechanism 39 for locking the container body 2 so as to be non-turning or releasing it from the non-turning state in response to a releasing operation. When released from the non-turning state, the container body 2 turns by its own weight so that while the corner C moves downward along the vertical or substantially vertical direction, the back face inclines downward.
