PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device, restraining the occurrence of creases of a record medium in the process of passing through a fixing nip part; and to provide an image forming apparatus using the same. SOLUTION: The fixing device includes: a fixing belt 12; a pressure roller 13 abutting on the fixing belt 12 to form a fixing nip part; right and left side plates 100f1, 100f2 supporting the fixing belt 12 and the pressure roller 13 at both ends in the width direction thereof; a second pressure arm 33 supported by a support shaft 35 provided on the right and left side plates 100f1, 100f2, driven by driving force from the outside to work on the pressure roller 13 so that the pressure roller 13 is made to abut on the fixing belt 12 to enter the pressurizing state; and at least one positioning pin 18a supported on the image forming apparatus body when the fixing device 100 is mounted in a positioning hole 200a of the image forming apparatus body, wherein the positioning pin 18a is provided to be integrated with the end of the support shaft 35.
