PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-formulated coating composition containing lime and a binder, having excellent fluidity and dispersibility in addition to crack resistance, especially the coating composition suitably usable for coating on an industrial line using a flow coater or the like, and to provide a board or a sheet having the coating composition as a coating layer, and a method for producing the board or the sheet. SOLUTION: At least one kind selected from the group consisting of a nonpolar amino acid, a nonpolar amino acid polymer and salts thereof is mixed in the non-water curable water-formulated coating composition and containing the lime and a binder as a coating component.
