<p>A brush (4) for a mechanically-commutated dynamo-electric machine, in a particular an electric motor, is arranged in a brush guide (5), for the generation and/or maintenance of an electrical contact or slip contact between a fixed first piece, for example, a current supply and a commutator (1) with lamellae (2), whereby an elastic element (6) presses the brushes (4) against the lamellae (2). According to the invention, an improvement in the commutation can be achieved with a stable brush position. The above is achieved, whereby the brush (4) is embodied such that the elastic element (6) exerts a force on the brush (4) at an angle different to the perpendicular on the front face of the brush (4) facing away from the commutator (1).</p> |
