A multi-stage microstrip branch line coupler using stub is provided to reduce unnecessary processes by being implemented in a single plane, to be easily designed by being implemented in a microstrip and to minimize the branch line coupler having lambda/8 in length. A multi-stage microstrip branch line coupler using stub includes a first session(140), a second session(150), and a third session(160). A pair of main transfer lines(an upper transfer line(a1) and a lower transfer line(a1)) of the first session(140) includes an input port(100) and a separation port(130) formed at a left opened end, and a pair of main transfer lines(an upper transfer line(a1) and a lower transfer line(a1)) of the third session(160) includes a passing port(110) as an output port and a coupling port(120) as an output port formed at a right opened end. The respective upper transfer lines(a1,a2,a1) and the lower transfer lines(a1,a2,a1) of the first, second, and third sessions(140,150,160) include stub line transfer lines(b1,b2,b1) formed at intermediate parts. The multi-stage microstrip branch line coupler has a symmetric structure about the second session(150). |
