PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for use in vulcanization of tires capable of improving the evacuation efficiency by utilizing fine clearances formed by casting connection. SOLUTION: The tire formation surface of the piece 3 is formed with two or more piece blocks including the first piece block 5 and the second piece block 6. A fine clearance is formed in the boundary M between the piece blocks 5 and 6 by casting connection, and the boundary M is unconnected with end surfaces of the piece 3 or connected with only one end surface of the piece 3 to ensure a large length of the boundary M per unit area so as to make evacuation holes 7 formed within the piece 3 and the tire formation surface communicate with each other through the fine clearances.
