PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste liquid collector which can be detachably mounted on a device discharging a waste liquid and is capable of ensuring a stable mount state when the waste liquid collector is mounted on the device. SOLUTION: A waste ink tank 27 which is detachably mounted on a printer including a discharge portion discharging a waste ink and stores the waste ink discharged from the discharge portion when mounted on the printer includes: a locked step portion 60 which detachably engages with a locking step portion 40 of the printer when mounted on the printer; and a convex portion 92 which protrudes in a direction intersecting an engagement releasing direction in which an engagement state of the locked step portion 60 is released from the locking step portion 40 when mounted on the printer so as to come in contact with a protrusion portion 93 of an opening/closing door 36 that is a part of the printer with displacement of the waste ink tank 27 in the engagement releasing direction.
