PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum coating film material enhanced in molding properties and adhesive properties, ensuring coating film removing properties in an alkali degreasing bath and capable of providing the occurrence reducing effect of sludge. SOLUTION: The aluminum coating film material is composed of a water-soluble and alkali-soluble resin comprising one or more kinds of resins selected from a specific group, at least one kind of a chelating agent A selected from d-tartaric acid, citric acid, malic acid, glycolic acid, gluconic acid, heptogluconic acid and alkali metal salts of them, at least one kind of a chelating agent B selected from EDTA, DTPA, HEDP, EDTMP, NTA, HEDTA and alkali metal salts of them and wax and contains these components in a uniformly dispersed state. The amount ratio of the resin component and the chelating agent (chelating agent A+chelating agent B) is 90:10 to 99.9:0.1 and the ratio of the wax component to the total amount of the resin+the chelating agent (chelating agent A + chelating agent B) is 2-15%.
