PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a whistle, the interior of which can be cleaned and the side plate of which can be easily attached and detached. SOLUTION: The whistle 1 is provided with a resonance chamber 21 and an air supply pipe 26 inside, and a sound emitting opening 22 and an air supply opening 25 opened. The whistle includes: a body 11 whose one side is opened, and which is formed of a hard resin; and the side plate 12, which closes the side opening part and which is formed of the hard resin. A resonance chamber wall 21a constituting a resonance chamber 21 of the body 11 is partially cut out to provide a resonance chamber wall opening part 21b, and a circular-arc first flange 31 is provided in a portion of the side plate 12 corresponding to the resonance chamber 21. A recessed part 32 is provided in the first flange 31, and a projecting part 28 is provided on a first flange receiver 27. In mounting the side plate 12, the resonance chamber 21 is enlarged or reduced by the resonance chamber wall opening part 21b to press in the first flange 31.
