<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the quality of an injection molding by securing mold clamping precision, and to compactify support structure of an end plate. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This mold clamping device 1 for an injection molding machine is provided with a fixed platen 2, guide rails 8 laid along a mold clamping direction of a movable platen 3 on a base block 7, in structure moved advancedly and retractedly on the base block 7, to clamp a mold between the fixed platen 2 and the movable platen 3, by a link mechanism provided between the end plate 4 and the movable platen 3, and for sliding the end plate 4, guide blocks 10 for the end plate 4 arranged in both sides of the end plate 4 and guided along the guide rails 8, and a guide connection member 20 with one end fixed onto each guide block 10 for the end plate, and with the other end fixed in the vertical-directional center position O on a side face 4c of the end plate 4.
