The vehicle has a torsion stabilization device for controlling torsion stabilizers (3, 4), which are engaged at a common supporting element (7) in an area of a longitudinal centre plane (8) of the motor vehicle and at corresponding body parts on sides of the longitudinal centre plane. The torsion stabilization device is provided with a linear actuator i.e. hydraulic actuator. The supporting element is movable with the linear actuator in a direction normal to the longitudinal centre plane. The actuator is provided with a double-acting hydraulic cylinder (11).
