<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device enabling a visually handicapped user to easily put a hand on a grip, and considering a handleable universal design, when opening/closing an opening/closing portion and a drawing portion. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A printer 1 includes a manual paper feeding tray 30 which is an opening/closing portion rotating about a supporting shaft 31 and freely opening/closing, and a paper feeding cassette 20 which is a drawing portion which can be drawn and stored by sliding. Those respectively have grips 32, 22 linearly extending in the lateral direction along a front surface from any edge portion to an edge portion on the opposite side to the edge portion, on front surfaces. Therefore, only by vertically moving a hand along the front surfaces of the manual paper feeding tray 30 and the paper feeding cassette 20, the user can easily reach the grips 22, 32 and put the hand on that.
