<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an inexpensive recording material conveying device capable of surely eliminating skew of a recording material in feeding before starting conveyance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A recording paper P to be fed by an automatic feeding device 7 is fed in a feeding direction YF toward an annular guide member 11 along top surfaces of a plurality of guide ribs 751 provided in a feeding route 75. A tip of the recording paper P is brought in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the annular guide member 11 on this side just before being brought in contact with the outer peripheral surface of a conveyance driving roller 51, and guided along the outer peripheral surface of the annular guide member 11, and abuts on a part (an abutment line), in which the outer peripheral surface of the conveyance driving roller 51 and the outer peripheral surface of a conveyance driven roller 52 abut on each other, without abutting on the outer peripheral surface of the conveyance driving roller 51.
