PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stirring device and a viscosity measuring method in a stirring device which perform exact on time measurement of the viscosity of liquid to be treated. Ž

SOLUTION: The liquid 2 to be treated prepared beforehand is poured into the stirring tank 10 of a stirrer 3, then a servomotor 13 is driven, and a stirring blade 12 is rotated at a prescribed rotational period ΔT centering on a rotary axis 11. When stirring by the stirring blade 12 is started, the pressure in the stirring tank 10 is measured at a prescribed data sampling period by a pressure sensor 15, and when the stirring blade 12 completes the rotation of one period, based on the pressure in the stirring tank 10 measured during the period, a pressure difference ΔP between the maximum pressure Pmaxand the minimum pressure Pminmeasured during the period is calculated (S12), and, based on the calculated pressure difference ΔP and correlation expression derived beforehand by advance experiment, the present viscosity of the liquid to be treated stored in the stirring tank is calculated (S13).
