<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition which has a lower viscosity than the conventional one and has fluidity. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises an epoxy resin, an inorganic filler, and a silane coupling agent. The silane coupling agent is represented by formula (1), wherein X represents an organic group containing one or more alcoholic OH groups; R<SP>1</SP>represents -CONH-CaH2a-, -CaH2a-, -COO-CaH2a-, or -OCO-CaH2a- (a is an integer of 1-5); R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>are each an alkyl group; l represents an integer of 1-3; m represents an integer of 1-3; n represents an integer of 0-2; and l+m+n=4.
