摘要 <p>A numerical control machine tool has two main shafts mounted in opposition to each other. In order to enable consecutive operation of lathe turning machining work in accordance with a velocity command, drill machining work for drilling with rotating tools with a work positioned at a given angle, and other machining works while keeping a state where a single work is grasped by both of the main shafts, switching means (152, 215, 225) are provided which switch a reference main shaft (314) to a profile control shaft in a state where both of the main shafts are held in the position control mode selected during main shaft synchronization control, in case a C-shaft control switching command is issued to treat the reference main shaft (314) as the profile control shaft while main shaft synchronization control is performed for the reference main shaft (314) and a synchronized main shaft (324) and the synchronized main shaft (324) is revolving at a command velocity given to the reference main shaft (314).</p>
