AMBIENT LIGHT DETECTION DEVICE

PURPOSE: An ambient light detection device detecting light level by using a liquid display module is provided to improve the accuracy of measurement by calculating the level of the ambient light without an optical detector. CONSTITUTION: A current measuring circuit(60) measures the current flowing in an activated area. A driving circuit is connected to VSS3 for turning off all gates. A controller(70) is connected to the testing circuit. The controller is composed in order to calculate the level of the ambient light. The ambient light is added from the measurement current in the liquid crystal display.
