PURPOSE: A dryer and a control method thereof are provided to efficiently sterilize objects to be dried within fast time without damage to the object such as clothes. CONSTITUTION: A control method of a dryer comprises following steps. Steam is supplied to the inside of a drum to make high temperature atmosphere and objects accepted inside are sterilized(S421). The temperature of the inside of the drum is uniformly maintained by supplying hot air to the inside of the drum(S431).
