The invention relates to a method for calibrating an inkjet printer (2), having a print head (8) comprising a plurality of ink ejecting nozzles (10) that can be actuated by means of a control signal. A specified calibration screen (42) is printed shortly prior to the intended print run by means of the inkjet printer (2), the value of a measurement parameter characterizing the print order is determined based on the printed calibration screen (42), and the ink ejection amount (29) per pixel is calibrated by adapting the control signal, based on the determined value of the measurement parameter. The invention further relates to a print product (22) printed by means of an inkjet printer (2) calibrated in such a manner.
