<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic and simple lighting system for a bathroom, can turn on the lighting of a bathroom only when required without troubling a user, and reduces malfunctioning. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic lighting system for a bathroom turns on or off lighting within a bathroom in conjunction with the opening or closing of a door, through a doorknob arranged outside the door of the bathroom. The automatic lighting system for a bathroom includes: a first sensing means for sensing that the door has opened through the movement of the doorknob; an ON-signal conversion means for converting the sensed information into an ON-signal for turning on the lighting within the bathroom; a second sensing means for sensing that the door has closed through the movement of the doorknob; an OFF-signal conversion means for converting the sensed information into an OFF-signal for turning off the lighting within the bathroom; and a switching means for recognizing a signal output from these conversion means and switching the lighting within the bathroom between ON and OFF states, according to the recognized signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
