<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker capable of performing stable heating operation and surely detecting lifting and movement of a pan even if it is a lightweight one such as an aluminum pan. <P>SOLUTION: A rectified output voltage from a rectifying means 52 is boosted to supply it to an inverter 70, and a power factor-improving means 71 to improve the power factor of a commercial AC fixes the boosted output voltage.
