<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel composition usable as a shock-absorbing material exhibiting shock-absorbing performance and having other additional values and to provide a method for producing the gel composition. <P>SOLUTION: The gel composition is usable as a shock absorbing material and includes a polymer containing at least either an acidic group or a basic group as a constituent unit and an ionic liquid in an amount of≥50 mass%, and the method for producing the gel composition usable as a shock absorber includes a step of preparing a mixed solution by mixing a monomoer or a polymer containing at least either an acidic group or a basic group, a crosslinking agent and an ionic liquid, the ionic liquid content being controlled so as to be≥50 mass%, and a step of forming the gel composition by polymerizing and crosslinking the monomer in the mixed liquid or crosslinking the polymer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
