<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device which is capable of specifying a light emitting part whose output is changed from a plurality of light emitting parts with a simple configuration, and to provide a projector. <P>SOLUTION: The light source device includes a first photodetecting part 15 and a second photodetecting part 16 which are provided in positions on which harmonic light scattered in an external resonator 14 being a transmission body is made incident and detect the scattered harmonic light. In the process of advancing the scattered harmonic light from the position of a main light ray to the first photodetecting part 15, the distance of the transmission of the harmonic light scattered in the transmission body is set as a first transmission distance and in the process of advancing the scattered harmonic light from the position of the main light ray to the second photodetecting part 16, the distance of the transmission of the harmonic light scattered in the transmission body is set as a second transmission distance. When the first transmission distance and the second transmission distance are defined for each light emitting part 12, the ratio between the first transmission distance and the second transmission distance in at least one of the plurality of light emitting parts 12 is different from the ratio between the first transmission distance and the second transmission distance in the other light emitting parts 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
