TIME SYNCHRONIZING APPARATUS FOR MOBILE WIMAX ANALYZER

A handover test system using WiBro measuring instruments is provided to exactly and definitely execute various tests for WiBro measuring instruments, which can perform a handover test for a PSS(Portable Subscriber Station), by precisely maintaining time synchronization between WiBro measuring instruments. A synchronization maintaining unit in a WiBro measuring instrument consists of a GPS receiver(110) and a sync controller(120). The GPS receiver(110) outputs a GPS signal synchronized with GPS time using the information received from a GPS satellite. The sync controller(120) comprises an oscillator(123), a frequency divider(124), an offset comparison part(122), and a processor(121). The oscillator(123) outputs an oscillation signal having a specific frequency. The frequency divider(124) divides the frequency of the oscillation signal and outputs a reference signal having a frequency smaller than the frequency of the oscillation signal. The offset comparison part(122) compares the GPS signal with the reference signal and outputs the difference. The processor(121) controls the oscillation frequency of the oscillator(123) until the output of the offset comparison part(122) meets an appointed reference value.
