<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide bulky paper excellent in bulking effect and paper strengthening effect (especially internal strength), and to provide a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for producing bulky paper by adding to a paper stock (3) a bulking agent (1) comprising an amide resin (A) modified with a fatty acid, containing a tertiary amide group and a tertiary amino group and obtained by reacting a secondary amino group-containing polyamine compound (a1), a monocarboxylic acid compound (a2) and a glycidyl group-containing compound (a3) and a paper-strengthening agent (2) comprising an amphoteric polyacrylic amide (B) and then performing papermaking, the paper-strengthening agent (2) gives a value of difference between [a Canadian standard freeness (ml) of a paper stock (3) containing the paper-strengthening agent (2)] and [a Canadian standard freeness (ml) of a paper stock (3) containing no paper-strengthening agent (2)] of≤50 ml. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
