<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative ion and nano mist generator for generating a large amount of anion and nano mist with a simple configuration. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The generator includes: a treatment chamber 14 for passing outer air with a blower 28; a water storage part 6 arranged in the lower part of the treatment chamber 14; a mortar shape rotary body 20 whose lower part is soaked into the water storage part 6 and where a diameter is enlarged toward the upper part; and a cylindrical porous body 22 which is positioned in the outer periphery of the rotary body 20 and rotated together with the rotary body 20 and where water and air to be spattered by centrifugal force by the rotation are passable. An air guide cylinder 24 for guiding the outer air flowing-in from the upper part of the rotary body 20 to the outer periphery of the porous body 22 is arranged at interval in the outer periphery of the rotary body 22 and has an oval shape where a pair of large flow passages and a pair of small flow passages 26, 26 are formed with the porous body 22.
