<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for knitting a knitted fabric having a jacquard texture part regulated so that a part having crossed different-colored yarns may not be exposed from the edge of the terminal part of the jacquard texture part in the knitting width direction. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The knitting in each of both terminal parts of knit stitches engaged with a front needle bed (FB) and a back needle bed (BB) in the knitting width direction is carried out by selecting the front and back relation of yarn-feeding members 4 and 6 for feeding each colored yarn so that the colored yarn fed to a knitting needle of the front needle bed (FB) and the colored yarn fed to a knitting needle of the back needle bed (BB) may be crossed, and regulating the knitting so that the number of stitches engaged on one needle bed (BB) in the front and back direction may be one or more stitches smaller than that engaged on the other needle bed (FB) in the front and back direction at both terminal parts in the knitting width direction.
