<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for removing frequency fluctuation caused by momentary temperature change and fine temperature variation (fluctuation) due to wind or the like. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The piezoelectric oscillator includes: a temperature sensor for detecting a temperature; a frequency control circuit performing frequency control on the basis of the detection output of the temperature sensor; an oscillation circuit including at least a piezoelectric vibrator and a voltage controlled varactor and capable of adjusting an oscillation frequency by the output signals of the frequency control circuit; a high-pass filter circuit receiving the detection output of the temperature sensor as input signals and making only high band component voltage signals included in the detection output of the temperature sensor pass through; and a cancellation means canceling high frequency noise included in the output signals of the frequency control circuit by the output signals of the high-pass filter circuit.
