<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce ventilation resistance generated between the peripheral wall of a scroll and an inlet port in an air conditioning device for a vehicle with a centrifugal fan. Ž<P>SOLUTION: By positioning the winding start section 210 of the scroll casing 21 on the vehicle forward side relative to a winding end 211, a peripheral wall side intake air passage 230a is arranged at a position close to the winding start section 210 outside the peripheral wall 216 of the scroll casing 21 (that is, in a region with a small scroll radius). Thus, a distance from the peripheral wall 216 of the scroll casing 21 to the center of the inlet port is shortened, and the ventilation resistance between the peripheral wall 216 of the scroll casing 21 and the inlet port 214 is reduced.
