MRI IMAGE DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS AND MR IMAGE FORMING METHOD

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MRI image diagnostic apparatus for extracting, correcting and displaying the pseudo defective part of a blood vessel generated in MRA imaging. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The MRI image diagnostic apparatus includes: a scan part 001 for applying a gradient magnetic field and a high frequency magnetic field to a subject placed in a static magnetic field and detecting nuclear magnetic resonance signals generated from the subject; a reconfiguration part 002 for reconfiguring the image on the basis of the nuclear magnetic resonance signals and generating volume data; a blood vessel extraction part 003 for extracting the blood vessel from the volume data; an end point information preparation part 006 for obtaining end point information including the position of the end point of the extracted blood vessel and the direction of the blood vessel at the end point; an interpolation part selection part 010 for selecting a part between the end points to be interpolated from the end point information; an interpolation part 009 for interpolating a blood vessel wall between the selected end points; and a display control part 012 for displaying an image for which the information of the interpolated blood vessel wall is added to the volume data at a display part 013.
