<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greened pavement being a technique regarding a greened pavement in an area such as a driving path or a parking place which vehicles enter, increasing the ratio of green area while maintaining load-resistant capacity, allowing plants to soundly grow and keeping the plants in sound conditions for a long period of time, and to provide a method for constructing the greened pavement. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The greened pavement includes the following structure: a tread pressure-preventive material is laid on the upper side of a water-holding road base formed by agitating and mixing road base material and water-holding material containing anion adsorbing carbon material, and evenly laying the mixture on the upper side of a road bed and roll-pressing the mixture; vegetation base material including a plant growth-promoting agent containing microorganisms belonging to Staphylococcus or Brevibacterium, and/or the anion adsorptive carbon material is filled in a space protected by the tread pressure-preventive material; and plants are arranged on the upper side of the vegetation base material.
