<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily draw out a paper feeding cassette from a device body, even if a sheet is jammed between a separating roller and a cover of the roller. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This paper feeding cassette 2 includes the cover 21 for guiding the sheet and the separating roller 5 for feeding the sheet guided to the cover 21. The cover 21 is rotatable to an upstream side of a sheet feeding direction so that the separating roller 5 may be attached/detached, has an extension part 91 extending to a lower side of a sheet guide in a state of the paper feeding cassette 2 mounted on the device body and is not opened by the extension part 91, even if the sheet is jammed.
