摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical coupling which is miniaturized to offer better transport efficiency, and allows steel pipe connection work at a construction site to be executed efficiently and quickly at a low cost. SOLUTION: A coupling structure coupling two steel pipes in series includes a pair of projecting portions each of which is formed on an end of each of two steel pipes and projects outside the outer peripheral surface of the steel pipe, a plurality of coupling members which are attached on the exterior of the paired projecting portions as ends of two steel pipes butted against each other and have grooves formed on the inner peripheral surfaces of the coupling members for receiving the paired projecting portions, and a cylindrical fixing member which is attached on the exterior of the connection members attached to the paired projecting portions. This coupling structure does not require the use of screws, bolts, etc. , is simple in structure, and enables cost reduction.
